Mumbai: Ram Gopal Varma has run into yet another controversy- something he isn’t alien to. The filmmaker, who has recently been held guilty of ridiculing Rohan Sippy’s ‘Dum Maro Dum’ starring Abhishek Bachchan, has made his stance very clear on a social networking site. He has also talked about his equation with the Bachchan family and what they mean to him. The troubled director has clarified that he has not used any social networking site to talk against Abhishek Bachchan’s film. RGV tweeted, “Anyway fr whoever wants to know whether we work or not my relation ship with the bacchans is very sacred fr me nd will remain so forever. I highly respect mr.bacchan nd am highly affectionate towards abhishek nd the reasons fr the changes in department ar nthng but date issues” RGV has also lashed out on journalists, who have created news out of nothing. Explaining how he was dragged into the controversy, RGV tweeted, “ The unimaginable dumbness of some journos today has to be seen to be blvd..2 days be4 DMD releasd middays tushar askd me if I msgd DMD end. Nd whn I replied tht I hvnt evn seen the film still he went ahead nd did a stry hw I smsed bout DMD..nw my qstn is wht I cud hav nd to whom.” “If I dint use the blog or the twitter what other public medium cud I hav used to send derogatory msgs twards DMD”, he tweeted. Moreover, Varma feels that his comments would not make a difference and that in any way could stop cine-goers from watching the film. “Nd assuming tht I sent msgs privatley to ppl I know what harm will tht cause to the public perception of the film I want to know”, he wrote.
