Emma Watson dumps banker boyfriend for Spanish musician

London: `Harry Potter` star Emma Watson has ended her two-year relationship with financier Jay Barrymore.

The split comes after the 19-year-old grew close to Spanish musician and fellow student at Brown University Rafael Cebrian and the pair have been spending time together since the split, reported a news website. The two became close friends last November while the actress was still in a relationship with Barrymore, and since the split she has been heavily leaning on Cebrian. "Emma and Jay, 28, were in trouble for months and with Emma at Brown University in America, the transatlantic gap proved too much for their relationship to survive," said a source close to the actress. "Emma has been spending a lot of time with Rafael and they are virtually inseparable," added the source. The musician has even managed to persuade Watson to take part in the forthcoming Brown student production of Chekhov`s `Three Sisters`, as part of a 13-strong cast. Cebrian belongs to the Production Workshop, a student-run theatre group at Brown and been acting with them since he moved to the US, and he persuaded the actress to get involved. PTI
