New York: Anne Hathaway has reportedly joined the cast of ‘Les Miserables,’ a movie adaptation of the novel and play.
According to Deadline.com, ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ star will play the working-class Fantine in the new adaptation, which will include Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean and Russell Crowe as Inspector Javert.
The film is being directed by Academy Award winner Tom Hooper, who is best known for his work in ‘The King’s Speech,’ the New York Post reported.
The movie is slated for a Dec 2012 release.
