Rajnikanth briefly hospitalised for exhaustion

Tamil movie superstar Rajnikanth was admitted in the intensive care unit (ICU) of St. Isabel Hospital in Chennai.

Chennai: Tamil film superstar Rajnikanth was briefly hospitalised on Friday for exhaustion and dehydration on a day when his latest film 'Rana' went on the floors.The 60-year-old actor, who was earlier admitted to Isabel Hospital, was treated for exhaustion and dehydration and later discharged, doctors, who attended on him, said.

Rajnikanth enacts a triple role in Rana, his first period movie in which Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, making her debut in Tamil, is paired opposite him. PTI
