Joe Perry grateful to his genes for successful career

Washington: Aerosmith member Joe Perry is grateful to his good genes and Portuguese heritage for his successful career. “You adjust. I don’t do backwards somersaults anymore. But my playing is getting better. And I’m lucky to have some good Mediterranean genes," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

The guitarist had undergone a knee surgery in 2008. He had revealed before the surgery that he was playing in pain for three years, as an injury caused by a stage fall in Dallas, Texas 23 years ago had relapsed. Perry mentioned that Aerosmith would tour once again in 2010 after a "breather." ANI
