Vivek Oberoi invites Karnataka CM to his nuptials

After years of a jinxed Bollywood career and equally hapless love life, Vivek Oberoi is all set to marry Priyanka Alva on October 29th. Buzz has it that Vivek recently met Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa to handover his wedding card. Vivek fixed an appointment to personally meet the CM at his home and handed his wedding invitation. The meeting lasted for thirty minutes and Yeddyurappa confirmed that he`ll attend the nuptials.

Buzz has it that Vivek recently met Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa to handover his wedding card. Vivek fixed an appointment to personally meet the CM at his home and handed his wedding invitation. The meeting lasted for thirty minutes and Yeddyurappa confirmed that he`ll definitely attend the nuptials. Talking to a daily about his wife-to-be, an ecstatic Vivek said, "The first time I met Priyanka, I fell in love with her sense of humour. I knew we had a certain connect. I have found my soul mate. She is Karnataka`s most beautiful gift to me. I`m lucky that she understands my hectic schedule. Even our honeymoon will also be delayed. Any other girl would have thrown tantrums. She loves nature and deep sea diving, and I love to fly planes. So it has to be some place which allows us to do both." When enquired on how does he feels about the meeting of two families, Vivek said, "It`s about marrying into a humanitarian family that has been into social service for generations. In fact, it was Aditya`s (Priyanka`s brother) idea to revive the dying miniature art of Ganjifa, which is native to Karnataka. So we are beginning it by our handcrafted Ganjifa wedding cards." Vivek added that Priyanka had seen the rushes of his upcoming film ‘Rakta Charitra’ and was worried why he played such an aggressive character, hoping that he wasn`t like that in real life.
