Captain Kirk pays tribute to Shuttle Discovery

Kirk recorded a special version of his voice-over from the original hit series.

London: A tribute from reel life to real life – Star Trek’s Captain Kirk praised the crew of Shuttle Discovery, recording a special version of his famous voiceover from the opening credits of the original hit TV series.
He said it had boldly gone and done what no spacecraft has done before. "Space, the final frontier. These have been the voyages of the Space Shuttle Discovery,” a newspaper quoted American telly legend William Shatner as saying. "Her 30 year mission: To seek out new science. To build new outposts. To bring nationals together on the final frontier. To boldly go, and do, what no spacecraft has done before,” he added. Discovery is one of NASA’s oldest surviving space shuttles and will be the first to be decommissioned this year. ANI
