London: The British couple who recently won the 101-million-pounds lottery in the EuroMillions lottery, plan to share their good fortune with their closest friends and relatives.
Dave and Angela Dawes, who won the lottery at the third attempt after failing twice before, wish to share their prize money with family and closed friends who have helped them over the years. “We’ve made a list of 15-20 friends and family that we are going to make millionaires – anyone who has helped us through our lives,” the Daily Express quoted Dave as saying. The down-to-earth couple, who plans to marry in style next year, wishes to buy new properties in London as well as abroad, with Dave being a Chelsea fan, wishing to have a house close to Stamford Bridge. This has been Britain’s third biggest lottery prize and making the winning couple 702 in Britain’s Rich List, ahead of pop star David Bowie, who is placed at 703 with 100 million pounds and also above star celebrity couples Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, and Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin.
