Washington: Charlize Theron says being famous is like being part of a “freak show”.

The 36-year-old actress insists that the attention stars now receive from the paparazzi and the public is beyond anything she ever imagined, and is saddened by the fact that their privacy is being respected less and less. “It````s (fame) become a freak show.
