Katie named Face of the Future

Katie Holmes has been named the `Face of the Future` by a fashion label.

London: Hollywood actress Katie Holmes has been named the `Face of the Future` by Italian fashion label MaxMara.
The annual award is given by the Italian fashion label to recognise style, talent and the recipient`s contribution to the community, reported Daily Telegraph. The `Batman Begins` star, who travelled to Milan Fashion Week for the brand`s catwalk presentation said she was thrilled with the honour because she adores the label. "Their clothes are so comfortable and beautifully made, I love wearing them. I`m so excited to be here at Milan Fashion Week, this is my first time. I haven`t been shopping yet but I will sneak in some time to shop," said Holmes. Ian Griffiths, Head of Design Style for the brand, said they had chosen the 32-year-old actress because she is the epitome of a MaxMara customer. "Katie`s style is chic and modern, it equates with the Max Mara style because it gives you confidence so you look good in anything. No matter what you`re doing you don`t have to worry about how you look," he said. The award will be presented to Holmes at a gala in Beverly Hills in June where she will join the ranks of previous recipients Zoe Saldana, Emily Blunt and Elizabeth Banks. PTI
