Pop star Lily Allen ditches her showbiz friends

London: Lily Allen is ditching her celebrity friends as she is undergoing a detox regime to settle down and start a family with builder boyfriend Sam Cooper. "She has deleted the numbers of her showbiz friends from her phone. Lily says she wants no part of the party stuff that goes with being in the public eye, and she wants to concentrate on starting a family," Allen`s close friend said.

"She believes the only way to start afresh is to cut all ties with her old showbiz mates. She prefers to hang out with Sam`s non-famous friends," the friend added. Allen and Cooper are house-hunting in Gloucestershire, searching for the perfect rural retreat after the singer told friends she has tired of life in London, Daily Mail online reported. "Lily loves Gloucestershire and would like a house close to her father Keith in Stroud. She loves spending time there and has finally persuaded Sam to move out of London. It wasn`t easy as most of his clients are based in the capital," the friend added. "I just want to have babies and live in the countryside. That`s my goal. I want to be a mum," Allen had recently said. PTI
