I want to win an Oscar, says Simon Cowell

Simon Cowell says he would love to be involved in an Academy Award-winning film production.

London: Media mogul Simon Cowell says he would love to be involved in an Academy Award-winning film production.
"I`m not going to lie, I`ve always had this dream of accepting an Oscar for a movie that I`ve produced or helped write, so I hope it happens one day," the 53-year old said. Cowell returns to UK screens this weekend as the new series of `Britain`s Got Talent` begins on ITV, reported Digital Spy. He said that fellow judges Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden acted like "3-year-olds" when they walked out of auditions during filming earlier this year. "This year, it`s turned into The Guys vs The Girls," he added. The reality show boss is currently involved in the development of an `X Factor` musical, which is set to open in the West End next year. The show, called `It`s Time to Face the Musical!` has been written by Harry Hill. Cowell recently sat through workshops for the musical and said he is excited for the show to open. "I`m excited now I`ve seen it. I sat through the workshops. Some of the actors were fill-ins and some of them were people that we will use. I think it`s one of the funniest things I`ve ever seen in my life." PTI
