New York: Oscar-winner Kevin Costner has reportedly signed up to star in Quentin Tarantino`s `Django Unchained` alongside Leonardo DiCaprio.
The director is said to have cast the 56-year-old actor for the role of Ace Woody, a sadistic trainer of slaves who pits fighters against one another in the cowboy movie, reported a website. The film tells the story of slave-turned-bounty hunter Django (Jamie Foxx), who takes on villains Ace and Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio), the owners of a Mississippi club and ranch, after being freed by German bounty hunter `Dr King Schultz`, Christoph Waltz, while Jackson will take up the role of `Calvin`s` head slave `Stephen`. Costner is due to start filming `Man of Steel` – a reboot of the `Superman` film series in Vancouver, Canada, and Chicago in the next few weeks. He will play Clark Kent`s adoptive father Jonathan Kent in the movie, which also stars Henry Cavill as the `Man of Steel` and his alter-ego Clark, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Michael Shannon as villain General Zod.
