Nicki Minaj fined $11 for swearing at music festival

Washington: Rapper Nicki Minaj has been ordered to pay 11 dollars as fine by Jamaican authorities for swearing during her performance at a weekend music festival.

Minaj, 28, ignored warnings about profanity penalties at the Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay and uttered a number of expletives while onstage on the final night of the week-long event, Contactmusic reported. Her bad behaviour prompted cops to slap her with a fine for 1,000 Jamaican dollars - but the sum translates to a paltry 11 dollars. Minaj’s lawyer appeared in court on July 25 to enter a guilty plea on behalf of the star and settled the fine. ANI
