The couple will sit on ornate seats during their marriage ceremony and Brand will either arrive on an elephant or a white horse.

Jaipur: Hollywood couple, Katy Perry and Russell Brand, who are currently in India for their Hindu wedding, is sparing no expense to make their marriage a lavish affair. After Katy was seen sporting the traditional ‘nath’, buzz has it that the couple will get married Posh and Becks-style - sitting on giant thrones. The couple will sit on ornate seats during their marriage ceremony and Brand, as per the Indian customs, will either arrive on an elephant or a white horse for the wedding. As per reports, the duo were said to have “burst out laughing” as they tried the ornate seats ahead of their traditional Indian wedding this weekend. The lovebirds were also blessed by a Hindu priest while 40 of their guests went on a tiger safari. Sources also suggest that Russell and Katy threw a Bollywood-style feast to kick off their four-day celebrations. The celebration was marked with dancers, snake-charmers and fires at the luxury Aman-i-Khas resort in Rajasthan. Confirming the news a source told a daily, “They are very much keeping to Indian tradition. There will be feasting and dancing. And Katy will be painted head-to-toe in henna tattoos.” What’s more is that the workmen have already busy constructing a stage. And famous singer P Diddy is expected to perform on the night.
