New Delhi: Designer Felix Bendish, who is known for his scarves and fashion accessories range, is set to launch a clutch line at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) Spring-Summer 2012 which starts Saturday.
"This is the first time I am launching my art clutches, totally inspired from rain forest concept called - the nest. The collection will be in a riot of neon colours blended perfectly with dramatic fashion sensibility," Bendish told IANS.
The designer`s signature style is a mix of traditionalism with strong Asian influences, but this season he has tried to bring variety to his creative style.
"I love playing with textures, so using the idea in surface ornamentation was fun and challenging. There has been no usage of leather in the entire collection and I played with embroideries to enhance the thematic collection of animal kingdom," he added.
The collection will be a mix of different hues like pink, orange, green and turquoise - playing in fabrics like chiffons, crepes, silk and suede.
The designer has styled for Bollywood actors like Riya Sen, Ashmit Patel, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Rajneesh Duggal and Sayali Bhagat and said his collection is meant for all age groups.
"I am looking forward to create an impact in accessory clutches that can be enjoyed by teens to adults," he added.
