Friend turned foe Farah pokes fun at Shah Rukh in ‘Tees Maar Khan’

All is not well between ‘once thick friends’ Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. The choreographer turned director has cashed in on her upcoming Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Tees Maar Khan’ to take out her enmity at the Badshah of Bollywood. Buzz has it that the film slated to release this Christmas has bold and direct spoofs on King Khan. Once best buddies, Farah and Shah Rukh have constantly been sarcastic about each other, off late.

Mumbai: All is not well between ‘once thick friends’ Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. The choreographer turned director has cashed in on her upcoming Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Tees Maar Khan’ to take out her enmity at the Badshah of Bollywood. Buzz has it that the film slated to release this Christmas has bold and direct spoofs on King Khan. Apparently, the script has been penned by editor-director Shirish Kunder, who cannot tolerate Shah Rukh. The script writer made the most of ‘Tees Maar Khan’, directed by his wife, Farah. The character that Akshaye Khanna essays is sculpted on SRK. He is shown as suffering from severe backache who often flies to London to get his treatment done. There are also clear references to six-packs and going topless for a scene, reminding audiences of Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Om Shanti Om’. To add on, Akshaye Khanna, in the movie is approached by an international filmmaker named Danny. The actor, however declines the offer. Veteran actor Anil Kapoor who plays a cameo in TMK is shown replacing Akshaye in the International project which goes on to win the Academy Awards. This piece of story exactly replicates the situation SRK was in, when he was approached by Danny Boyle for ‘Slumdog Millionaire’. Farah pretended as if she did not understand the question when a daily asked her about her about her dig at the ‘Badhshah of Bollywood’. Once best buddies, Farah and Shah Rukh have constantly been sarcastic about each other, off late. They have been blowing things out and proportion by leaving no stone unturned. Now, how is SRK going to retaliate to Farah’s mock at him is left to us to wonder?
