London: Harry Potter star Emma Watson is taking her first steps into a fashion career - she is close to clinching a deal with Fairtrade company People Tree to create a teenage clothing line.The 19-year-old is keeping the line strictly ethical like her character Hermione Granger from the wizard franchise and is expecting to launch it later this year, reports poplife.biz.
Watson, who is hoping to do a photo shoot this month, wants the range to have a "casual rock feel" and has called on popular model Tafari Hinds to help. "She`s a big supporter of ethical concepts so liked the idea of this. There`s also a lot of interest from other influential brands since her success as the face of Burberry. Acting is always going to take priority, but she`s keen to branch out," said a source close the actress. IANS
