Anubhav Sinha overawed by SRK on the sets of ‘Ra.One’

Mumbai: Ever since Shah Rukh Khan appointed Anubhav Sinha as the director of ‘Ra.One’, Sinha is so awed by the presence of King Khan, that he persistently seeks his approval after each shot of the film. With Shah Rukh Khan as the protagonist and huge moolahs on stake, Sinha is at his nerves ends, for he is helming SRK’s most ambitious home production and wants to commit no mistake. Talking to a news daily, a source said, “After every shot, Anubhav looks at Shah Rukh for approval. Shah Rukh tries to look away a bit, not wanting to interfere. But Anubhav is too awed by Shah Rukh’s presence on the set. He doesn’t okay any scene until Shah Rukh says so. He calls Shah Rukh and says, ‘Sir, dekh lo, theek hai ya nahi’.” “The number of takes in almost every scene depend on what Shah Rukh feels after he sees, or rather is made to see, the scene on the monitor,” added the source. Although we doubt whether Shah Rukh likes it or not, the fact is he isn’t complaining to anyone because ‘Ra.One’ is one of his most pricey projects.
