New Delhi: Recovering from its early losses, the BSE benchmark Sensex on Tuesday gained by over 100 points on low level buying.
The 30-share index, which lost 745.68 points in the previous two sessions, rose by 102 points to 20,004.
Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty moved up by 34 points to 5,924.
Meanwhile, in Asia, Hong Kong's Hang Seng index down by 1.08 percent, while Japan's Nikkei fell 0.70 percent in early trade.
The US Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 0.32 percent lower in yesterday's trade.
