Bon Jovi keeps playing after injuring calf

London: American rocker Jon Bon Jovi played in pain in a New Jersey concert after he tore his calf muscle.
The band was performing at the New Meadowlands Stadium in their native state when the 48-year-old singer began limping around the stage. But Bon Jovi refused the injury to be a hindrance to the concert and promised to play on and complete the show’s finale. "Don’t you worry folks, I ain’t got nowhere to go. Just felt my calf muscle go. I’m old, what can I tell you,” Bon Jovi told the crowd. He proved to be a complete professional and finished the set before being treated by medics backstage, reports The Daily Express. “Jon Bon Jovi sustained a torn calf muscle,” Bon Jovi’s representative told People.com. “Jon made light of the injury and went on to close the show with their hit, Living On a Prayer. The band ended the night together, thanking the capacity hometown crowd, and assisting Jon off the stage,” the rep added. “The injury will not prevent Bon Jovi from playing any of their upcoming stadium dates this summer,” the rep further said.
