Shahid and Kareena meet again in ‘Milenge Milenge’

Mumbai: Post the humongous success of ‘Jab We Met’, Shahid and Kareena parted ways, never to meet again. Nevertheless, destiny plays a strange game as Shahid and Kareena are all set to share the silver screen once again in Boney Kapoor’s long delayed flick ‘Milenge Milenge.’ Talking to a news daily on ‘Milenge Milenge’, probably his last film with Kareena, Shahid Kapoor said “It’s a love story that will resonate.’’ Even Kareena is quite happy to complete the film as she says, “I’m happy my work on the film is complete. I want the best for Boneyji and Satishji, both of whom I have worked with in the past.’’ Even though Shahid and Kareena are no longer a couple, Boney feels that love stories never run out of their charm. “The film is coming after ‘Jab We Met’, which established Kareena and Shahid as one of the most sought-after screen couples,’’ Boney said. Speaking about the Shahid-Kareena pair, a trade analyst said, “These two were magic in ‘Jab We Met.’ Almost like Raj Kapoor-Nargis, Dilip Kumar-Madhubala, Rajesh Khanna-Sharmila Tagore, Dharmendra-Hema Malini and Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol.’’ News has it that Shahid and Kareena came closer on the sets of ‘Milenge Milenge.’ However, call it destiny, the film mirrors real life of both actors, who go separate in the film, as they ended their relationship during it’s making.
