Tanti Holdings sells over 96 lakh Suzlon shares for Rs 16.2 crore
Mumbai: Tanti Holdings, a promoter entity of Suzlon Energy, on Wednesday offloaded over 96 lakh shares of the wind turbine maker for Rs 16.28 crore in the open market.
As per exchanges data, Tanti Holdings sold 96.7 lakh shares of the company valuing the deal at nearly Rs 16.28 crore. The shares were sold at an average price of Rs 16.84 apiece.
Meanwhile, foreign fund house Morgan Stanley Mauritius Company acquired 3.26 crore shares of Suzlon Energy for Rs 54.61 crore, the bulk deal data at the stock exchanges showed.
At the end of September quarter, Tanti Holdings held about 23.73 crore shares in Suzlon Energy representing 13.35 percent stake.
Earlier today, Suzlon Energy announced that its promoters had sold shares worth Rs 63 crore as part of corporate debt restructuring mechanism and the funds would be used to reduce liabilities.
On the BSE, the shares of Suzlon Energy dipped 1.68 percent to close Rs 17.60 apiece.
