Mumbai: Blame it on her anglicised Hindi or her persona but Bollywood filmmakers have faced a lot of difficulty in choosing the right playback singers for Katrina Kaif.
And now it is a welcome respite for Bollywood movie makers as Katrina Kaif has finally settled for the ‘Made In India’ hitmaker Alisha Chinai as her playback singer, whom she is tirelessly recommending to all her directors.
It is greatly believed that whenever Katrina is picturised in a song, filmmakers find it quite difficult in choosing the perfect female playback singer, all thanks to Katrina’s heavily accented Hindi.
After Alisha Chinai’s song ‘Tera Hone Laga Hoon’ from ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ turned out to be a huge hit, Katrina now wants Alisha as her playback singer.
Talking to a news daily, a source said, "Katrina really loved Alisha`s voice. She received lots of compliments and many suggested that Alisha`s voice best suits her. Katrina has liked Alisha`s voice so much that she has requested her producers to redub her songs in her voice. She also had a word with her next film ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara`s director Zoya Akhtar to rope in Alisha for the songs. Apparently, the title track will be now sung by her."
