Terror groups investing in Indian stock market: Shinde
Bangalore: Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde on Friday said that terror groups were investing in Indian stock markets but he refused to give their names.

The government has "information that such groups are investing in the stock exchange," he told reporters here after a meeting of the Southern Zonal Council.

Shinde said he would not be able to give the names of the groups investing in the stock market.

Regarding opposition of some states to setting up of National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), Shinde said "a new formula" has been worked out and he would write to all chief ministers about it.

He said he had asked southern states to share information on Maoists to curb the growth of the Left-wing extremism.

The meeting was attended by Chief Minister of Karnataka Jagadish Shettar, Andhra Pradesh's N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, and Puducherry's N. Rangaswamy, and Tamil Nadu Finance Minister O. Panneerselvam and Kerala Finance Minister K.M. Mani.
