Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s chemistry seems to be working till date, for the duo, have been voted the ‘most favourite romantic on-screen couple’ in a poll conducted by a magazine recently in an initiative to find the current favourites in the romance genre. Quite interestingly, the legendary pair of ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge’ beat Amitabh-Rekha to win the honour yet again, making Amitabh-Rekha the second on the list of romantic couples. They were followed by Salman-Madhuri, Akshay-Katrina, Shahid-Kareena, Hrithik-Aishwarya and Rishi-Dimple. ‘ Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge’, which has been running non-stop in Mumbai’s Maratha Mandir theatre for the last 14 years, has been coincidently voted the ‘most favourite romantic Bollywood movie of all time’, with ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ at the second spot, followed by ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’. What’s more is the fact that most of the awards in the romantic genre have gone to the Yash Raj production only. Well, going by the popularity of this everlasting duo, KJo’s ‘My Name Is Khan’ looks like a winner already!
