WDM witnesses trade worth Rs 3,202.15 crore on NSE

Mumbai: The Wholesale Debt Market segment of the National Stock Exchange on Saturday witnessed a total turnover of Rs 3,202.15 crore in 118 trades.

Top securities (non-repo) traded at the WDM were: The 364-days Treasury bills (issue No.261213) which traded at Rs 495.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.49 percent, the 364-days Treasury bills (issue No.121213) which traded at Rs.300.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.49 percent and the 8.33 percent Government securities maturing in CG2026, which traded at Rs 289.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.68 percent.

During the week ended today, the total turnover was Rs 20,701.44 crore and the total number of trades during the week was at 544.

The highest amount of trade during the week was at Rs.5,088.42 crore as on June 27, while the lowest volume was Rs.3,202.15 crore on June 28.

This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 7.60 percent, 7.74 percent, 7.65 percent and 7.72 percent, respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 90 days was 7.43 percent, it was 7.50 percent for bills of 91-182 days tenure, and 7.51 percent for bills of 183-365 days' tenure.

During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 14,305.94 crore, trading in Non-Government securities was at Rs 6,395.50 crore, representing 69.11 percent and 30.89 percent of the total traded value, respectively, the NSE release said.
