Janet Jackson’s tour contract forbids jokes on late brother Michael

Janet Jackson’s contract for her latest tour ‘Number Ones, Up Close And Personal’, has barred comedians from cracking jokes about MJ.

Washington: Janet Jackson’s contract for her latest tour ‘Number Ones, Up Close And Personal’, has barred comedians from cracking jokes about her deceased brother Michael Jackson or anyone from the Jackson family.
According to the Smoking Gun, the provision states that any comedian, she shares the bill with, will not be allowed to make any reference to the Jackson family, Contactmusic reported. Within the 45-year-old singer’s contract lies the stipulation, “that comedian will not make any reference to Janet Jackson or the Jackson family”, although that means that any comedian sharing the stage with the singer will also be gagged against any gags aimed at Tito, Jermaine et al. Jackson is presently playing in Australia and will remain there until mid-November, following which she will switch to South Africa. ANI
