Mumbai: After a very successful stint with the franchise of ‘Hera Pheri’, the idea to take it to the next level has gone kaput. There is buzz around that the face of the ‘Hera Pheri’ franchise Akshay Kumar has pulled out from ‘Hera Pheri 3’.
Akshay Kumar is said to have an ugly fall-out with the producer Firoz Nadiawala and is unwilling to work with him.
A source said, "For a very long time the third part of Hera Pheri was stuck because Anees couldn`t lock in on a script. By the time he did, Firoz and Akshay had fallen out.
Akshay is known to be a die-hard friend to his filmmaker friends. But once he feels betrayed he never turns back.
Anees, meanwhile doesn’t seem too kenn to work without Akki and candidly admits that Hera Pheri has been written keeping the Khiladi in mind. “The series is synonymous with Akshay”, said Bazmi.
The director hopes that by the time the new film goes on the floors, matters would be sorted out between Akki and Firoz.
