Pitt says his remarks about his marriage to Aniston were misconstrued

Brad Pitt has claimed that the remarks made by him regarding his marriage to Jennifer Aniston have been wrongly interpreted.

Washington: Brad Pitt has claimed that the remarks made by him regarding his marriage to Jennifer Aniston have been wrongly interpreted.
During an interview with Parade magazine, the 47-year-old actor had claimed that he wasn’t living an “interesting life” before he met Angelina Jolie, stating his “marriage had something to do with it”. The ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’ star had also said that he felt “pathetic” during the time of his life when he was married because all he did was sit on the “couch, holding a joint, hiding out”. Pitt is adamant that his remarks were misconstrued, and that he is still a very good friend of the former ‘Friends’ star.“It grieves me that this was interpreted this way. Jen is an incredibly giving, loving, and hilarious woman who remains my friend,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying. “It is an important relationship I value greatly. The point I was trying to make is not that Jen was dull, but that I was becoming dull to myself - and that, I am responsible for,” he added. ANI
