Robert Pattinson ruins relationships

London: Hollywood`s latest heartthrob Robert Pattinson identifies with his character in the latest movie `New Moon` who ruins his love-life in a stupid manner. The British actor, who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the `Twilight saga`, said he always has doubts in relationships and messes it up without realising, reported a magazine.

Speaking of his character, he said, "In this one he`s just lost. He doesn`t know what to do. It`s this typically male attitude when you find somebody you`re in love with and your own doubts just keep messing up again and again. And then you realise as soon as you`ve messed up, you only have a few chances!" "I`m like that every time! I`ll do that with every relationship I ever have. As soon as I like them I start beating myself up to a point of ridiculousness and then they hate me to the point of dumping me," he added. The 23-year-old, who is rumoured to be dating co-star Kristen Stewart, denies this but has said that girls are a lot more forward nowadays. "You can always tell. I can be sitting at a restaurant and suddenly there`s people sitting next to you and they`re making sure that I see them. If a girl can`t look at me as anything other than that, I probably don`t want to go out with her," said Pattinson. PTI
