It’s splitsville for Cameron Diaz and baseball star A-Rod

Sydney: Just a month after she officially announced her relationship with Alex Rodriguez, it has emerged that Cameron Diaz has broken up with the baseball player. The couple was first linked in early 2010 although Diaz did not officially admit to the on-off relationship until May this year.

“Yes, Alex is my boyfriend, it`s not a secret any more,” the actress told UK Elle magazine last month. However, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has reported on his website Fitperez.com that the relationship has now come to an end. “They`ve broken up. [Cameron is] hurt and betrayed, because she tried so hard to please him,” the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Hilton as saying. ANI
