Hyderabad: Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has emerged as the Box Office king of Andhra Pradesh as his latest ‘Businessman’ has outshined Venkatesh’s ‘Bodyguard’ by a huge margin.
The two films that hit the screens this Sankranti were released worldwide. Mahesh Babu’s flick collected over Rs 18,73,54,00 on day one while his senior colleague’s film could only earn Rs 6.5 crore.
The young actor’s film is certainly raking in the moolah making him the undisputable ruler at the Box Office.
Babu took to the Twitter to express his excitement and wrote, “Thankyou 4 making businessman another sensational hit of my career:) the whole experience has been overwhelming.. my eyes turn moist with every compliment received .. never felt this way b4:)(sic)”.
This is Babu and director Puri Jagannath’s second venture after ‘Pokiri’ that made fantabulous business.
