New Delhi: A CII delegation will visit European nations including Albania, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina with an aim to strengthen India's commercial ties with these countries.
The 10-member delegation, which will be accompanied by Minister of State for External Affairs Preneet Kaur, would visit these three countries between July 8 and July 14, the industry chamber said in a statement.
The business delegation would be led by Taylor Rubber Managing Director T T Ashok.
"The objective of the visit is to promote India's business ties with these nations which remain unexplored. They offer promising trade and investment opportunities in various sectors like IT, steel, energy, mining and petroleum," it said.
At present, India's trade with Albania, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina is negligible.
During the visit, CII is also expected to sign agreements with Albanian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and with Economic Chamber of Macedonia.
