American singer Beyonce Knowles says she`s "not ready" to halt her career to have children with her husband, hip-hop star Jay-Z, despite being keen to have a child.

London, April 24: American singer Beyonce Knowles says she`s "not ready" to halt her career to have children with her husband, hip-hop star Jay-Z, despite being keen to have a child.The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary April 4 and the "Irreplaceable" hitmaker, admits she`d like to slow down to build a family with the rapper, reports contactmusic.com.
"I definitely want one (a child) but I`m not ready for all that. I don`t think a person should see that before their time," she said.
