Saif ditches Deepika to play lover boy to Kareena

Saif might have pumped huge moolah to make ‘Love Aaj Kal’ flawless but he is falling short of going the extra mile to publicize his maiden project.

Mumbai, June 25: Saif Ali Khan might have pumped in oodles of moolah and gone for botox to make his first home production ‘Love Aaj Kal’ flawless but he is clearly falling short of going the extra mile to publicize his maiden project. Surprising as it may sound, Deepika, who is the leading lady of the flick, seems to have taken the reins for publicizing the film all by herself.Going solo to get the necessary eyeballs for her much-anticipated film, the lady made a lone appearance on Salman’s ‘Dus ka Dum’. As for her on screen leading man Saif, he was busy canoodling and attending to the whims of his dainty beauty Kareena in Delhi. What’s interesting is that though Saif told the show organisers that he was abroad and couldn’t come to attend the show, he was later photographed with Bebo in Delhi. Caught red handed, when the actor was questioned about the entire episode he said, “Yes, I am spending time with Bebo, and I love doing that. But I am a producer too and I wouldn`t spend time with her at the cost of promoting my film. That`s extremely important too." As per his Delhi visit the actor said," I have been in Delhi for the promotion of ‘Love Aaj Kal’. As far as appearing on ‘10 Ka Dum’ is concerned I will decide as a producer what I want to promote and where. If Deepika is seen on that show, then I will be seen on another show." Well, smart tactic but aren’t two better than one!
