Supermodel Kate Moss to sell jam

London: She is both a supermodel and fashion designer but Kate Moss` latest venture is a lot less glamorous, she is planning to make and market her own jam.

The catwalk queen is rolling up her designer sleeves and boiling up damsons picked at her country estate to make jam, reported a news website. The 36-year-old, is so hooked on the process that she now wants to launch her own label and has asked billionaire retailer friend Sir Philip Green to help get her jars on shop shelves. And she has sent samples of her product, called `Kate`s Damson Jam` to celeb friends including X Factor boss Simon Cowell and Jude Law. "Kate bought a load of expensive equipment because she`s always been keen on the idea of making jam. She has so much fruit on her land she wanted to put it to good use," said a source close to Moss. "It started as a hobby, but she`s taking it a lot more seriously after glowing feedback from friends and family. She`s hoping her plum conserve will be a hit with the public," added the source. The catwalk beauty is being helped in the kitchen by seven-year-old daughter Lila Grace. PTI
