New York: Jennifer Aniston appeared to be in a romantic mood as she celebrated her 43rd birthday on Saturday night with boyfriend Justin Theroux.
The ‘Friends’ star was also caught lighting up a cigarette despite having quit months ago.
Theroux threw a lavish party for his girlfriend in the penthouse of the Chateau Marmont Hotel in West Hollywood.
The couple reportedly looked very cozy as they mingled with famous friends Courteney Cox, Chelsea Handler, Jason Bateman, Emily Blunt, John Krasinki and Joel McHale.
“Justin and Jennifer kissed and hugged and were very affectionate with each other,” the New York Post quoted a source as telling OK! magazine.
Photos obtained from the party, show the pair were always at each other’s side, their arms often wrapped around each other.
Aniston wore a black sleeveless dress while Theroux opted for a white button-down shirt and hip suspenders.
In one of the shot, Theroux pulls Aniston in for a passionate kiss.
According to the source, she seemed highly pleased with her birthday gifts, especially one given to her by pal Jimmy Kimmel.
“She was so excited and made lots of sounds. She had a puppy-dog look on her face,” the source said of the actress’ reaction to opening the present.
While the source said that Aniston did not drink during the event, she was photographed smoking a cigarette, a surprise as she explained a slight weight gain in the fall saying, “I quit smoking a few months ago and I put on a couple of pounds.”
