The 33-year-old former Pussycat Dolls lead vocalist is also said to have been in secret talks with Andrew Lloyd Webber, the man who penned the famous musical, over the past six months to secure the deal. “Nicole is a big fan of the songs and was desperate to be involved,” the Sun quoted a source as saying. “She can sing and dance equally well so musicals are a natural step forward,” the source added. The remake of the original 1973 film isn’t set for release until 2014. ANI
