Rajinikanth wants Deepika to look more beautiful

It’s not easy for any actress to be cast opposite Rajinikanth as sultry babe Deepika Padukone had a tough time being Rajini’s heroine. If reports are to be believed, Rajini ordered the makers of ‘Rana’ to make Deepika look more beautiful, thereby delaying the shoot of the film by a week. Not very impressed by the looks of Deepika, Rajini sent the film crew in a tizzy by asking them to work out a better look for his heroine.

Mumbai: It’s not easy for any actress to be cast opposite Rajinikanth as sultry babe Deepika Padukone had a tough time being Rajini’s heroine. If reports are to be believed, Rajini ordered the makers of ‘Rana’ to make Deepika look more beautiful, thereby delaying the shoot of the film by a week. Not very impressed by the looks of his lady love, Rajini sent the film crew in a tizzy by asking them to take extra time to work out a better look for Deepika. Talking to a daily, a source revealed, “The first schedule was to begin in Chennai. However, Rajini told director K S Ravikumar that he felt Dippy needed to look simple, yet traditionally beautiful, and that wasn`t coming across.” Further adding, the source said, “It`s a very different film that spans three different time periods. Rajini plays a multi-generational triple role and Deepika is paired opposite him in his youth. Rajini has now asked the make-up team to go back to the drawing board and devise a new look, sending the entire schedule into a tizzy.” Well, guess the filmmaker have to abide by what the South icon says for when it comes to films down south, its Rajini’s way or the highway!
