Mumbai: Actor-director Kunal Roy Kapoor, who is gearing up for ‘Nautanki Saala’ release, is scripting his second film as a director and says it will be a social satire.
His directorial debut ‘The President Is Coming’ was also a satirical mockumentary. "I am scripting my second film as a director and it`s a sort of social satire, a dark comedy kind of a film. The film should roll by the end of the year. I am looking forward to the film," Kapoor told reporters. His brother Siddharth Roy Kapoor is married to acclaimed actress Vidya Balan. When asked if he will cast Vidya in the film, he said: "I want to work with Vidya Balan, but right now for this film, she won`t be there. I will have to come up with some convincing script, which could justify her. I want to direct her in future but nothing right now." Apart from ‘Nautanki Salaa’, Kunal has acted in ‘Delhi Belly’ and ‘Lions Of Punjab Presents’. Directed by Rohan Sippy, ‘Nautanki Saala’ will see him teaming up with Ayushmann Khurrana, Pooja Salvi and Evelyn Sharma. The film is slated for April 12 release. IANS
