London: The world’s smallest man, who turns 18 tomorrow, has revealed his birthday wish - a wife of his own stature.
Khagendra Thapa Magar, from Nepal, who’s just 2ft, has been enjoying a week of celebrations with family and friends.
He wants to be officially recognized by Guinness World Records and find a life partner.
The tiny dancer and karate fan had made several bids to enter the record books but failed, as he was not an adult.
"Now I have turned 18 I want two things: to be recognised by Guinness and to find a wife who is small like me," the Telegraph quoted Khagendra as saying.
"When I am officially recognised as the smallest man in the world I expect to get lots of proposals.
"It is my dream to have four children," he added.
Born weighing only 1lb 5oz in the remote Baglung District, 125 miles from the capital Kathmandu, Khagendra`s family members believe he was destined for greatness.
"It was like watching a newly hatched chick fresh from a shell," said mother Dhana Maya Thapa Magar.
"I admit that at first I was ashamed of him and would not leave the house, but now I only feel pride and am desperate for him to be named as the tiniest man in the world," she added.
