Mumbai, May 11: A sessions court today suggested playback singer Adnan Sami to try to reach for an out of court settlement with his estranged wife Sabah Galadari, who has filed a case of alleged harassment against Sami and his
parents.Additional sessions Judge CA Jadhav was hearing the anticipatory bail applications filed by Sami and his parents- Arshad Sami and Naureen Sami- in a case of harassment and cruelty filed by Sabah with the suburban Oshiwara police station. The judge stated that this is a matrimonial dispute that has arisen due to personal differences between the husband and wife. "Please do not expose each other in public. Why cannot the duo sit with each other and try to resolve the issues and reach for a settlement to solve the financial disputes," the judge questioned. To this Sami, who was present in court told the judge, "I would like to settle the dispute at the earliest and am ready to sit across tables with her (Sabah) and reach at a solution." Sabah`s lawyer Mahesh Jethmalani however told the court that Sami is in possession of a private video of Sabah and himself that he has been allegedly threatening to circulate. Bureau Report
