New Delhi: It`s a case of opposites attracting for television actress Sanjeeda Sheikh and her beau Aamir Ali. The two are as different as chalk and cheese, but have been going steady since 2007.
"He is a good boyfriend. He is mature and very understanding. He loves cleanliness and I am just opposite. About his negative things, I would better talk to him only," said Sanjeeda, 27.
Sanjeeda and Aamir have been quite vocal about their relationship and they also participated in the third season of dance reality show "Nach Baliye" and walked away with the trophy.
Sanjeeda says their relationship has helped her grow in her career.
"Everybody knows about our affair. It has not harmed my career in any way. On the contrary, it has helped me a lot in my career," she said.
The actress started her TV career with the comedy show ‘Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka’ and currently she is doing yet another comedy show called ‘Hi! Padosi... Kaun Hai Doshi?’ aired on Sahara One.
"I have worked in `Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka` earlier which was also a comedy. I am absolutely at ease working in a comedy. I think if you understand your role, comedy won`t create any tragedy," she said.
"I am lucky to always have good directors and producers. I have worked with Ekta Kapoor and Cine Vista and here I am working with producers Ankur Joshi and Kamlesh Bhanushali and directors Rajesh Gupta and Amitabh Sinha. I never had any problem with my producers or directors. I am a professional and maintain good rapport with all my producers, directors and co-artists," she added.
Sanjeeda doesn`t believe in planning for the future "but I want to work in the industry at least for 40 years".
