Sonam opposite Dhanush in ‘Raanjhana’!

Mumbai: Sonam is all set to share screen space with ‘Kolaveri Di’ sensation Dhanush in his maiden Hindi venture `Raanjhana`. If sources are to be believed, Bollywood director Anand L Rai of `Tanu Weds Manu` fame has approached the actress to play female lead. Apparently, Sonam too is keen to do a South Indian film. An insider revealed, “Sonam could not sign the project immediately, since she was already committed to do a couple of films. But she is working on her dates and is likely to be part of `Raanjhana`.” `Raanjhana` is touted to be a romantic entertainer and Dhanush is said to be playing a carefree youngster, whose life undergoes a sea change after he comes across a beautiful girl. Makers feel Sonam can totally do justice to the character. Even some sources confirmed that Sonam is perfect for the female lead in ‘Ranjhanna’and she fits to the role to the hilt. Meanwhile, Dhanush is learning Hindi to get his act right in `Raanjhana`, even as he is getting ready for the release of `3`, his Tamil movie.
