Singaporean men happier than women at workplace

Kuala Lumpur: A recent survey has revealed that the number of women in Singapore unhappy over work situations is higher as compared to men.

25 per cent of unhappy tweets were from working women, compared to only eight per cent for men. Singaporean men are happiest on Wednesdays while women stay happiest on Thursdays. According to China Press, the study was carried out by marketing-cum-communications agency Grey Singapore based on “tweets” by 1,000 random Twitter users aged between 17 and 60, Star online reported. The study revealed that the overall happiness levels amongst Singaporeans fell by 8.3 per cent to 44.5 per cent compared to last year``s survey figure of 52.8 per cent, while the number of unhappy Singaporeans went up to 25.3 per cent from 20.1 per cent. Furthermore, the number of unhappy Singaporeans has now reached a quarter of the populace at 25.3 per cent. The research also found that men were most depressed on Fridays while women, on Sundays. Singaporeans aged between 17 and 25 were also found to be the unhappiest. ANI
