Cole being nursed back to health with mum’s home-made grub

Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole is recovering from malaria with her mother’s home-made meal.

London: Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole is recovering from malaria with her mother’s home-made meal.
The star shunned posh meals at her private hospital in London and instead requested mother Joan for the food she loved while growing up in Newcastle. “It’s definitely helping to cheer her up. There were things like quails eggs on the menu. But fancy foods aren’t Cheryl’s way,” The Sun quoted a source close to Cheryl as saying. “She’s from a real working-class background and the home-made meals are a nice reminder from her childhood days,” the source added. Cheryl contracted malaria while on holiday with US dance pal Derek Hough in Tanzania. ANI
