Helena Carter wants to work with other directors too

London: ‘The King`s Speech’ actress Helena Bonham Carter admits she wants to work with directors other than her boyfriend Tim Burton.

The 44-year-old actress has collaborated with her long-term partner Burton on six movies but believes she would have a more peaceful working experience if she was hired by someone else. "I am available for work other than with the boyfriend. And I will certainly make it a calmer, easier, happier set to work on," contactmusic.com quoted her as saying. Carter, who has been nominated for best supporting actress at the Oscars for "The King`s Speech", thinks she is undeserving of the accolade but is grateful that people have been able to see her in a conventional role. "I feel like I`m flying on their coattails. But it is good for me to be seen as vaguely normal in a film instead of being dressed as a witch or some strange character," she added. IANS
