London: Pop sensation Lady Gaga has bought a pair of expensive binoculars to spy on the Queen from her hotel suite.
The pop diva is said to be a huge fan of the Royal Family and will try to find out what goes on behind closed doors at the Buckingham Palace during her visit to the UK.
Gaga, 25, has even made a special request to the staff at the Lanesborough Hotel in West London to ensure that she gets the best possible view of the Palace.
The five-star luxury hotel is close by but only a few of the best rooms actually allow guests to see the royal residence.
Gaga is in Britain for an appearance on the Jonathan Ross show and a private gig. And she has been glued to her hotel window at every opportunity to try to catch a glimpse of the Queen or Prince Phillip.
“She is totally obsessed with the royals. One of the reasons she loves that hotel is because of how close she is to the Queen,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.
“This time she thought ahead and brought a pair of really high-tech binoculars with her. She hopes she’ll eventually get to see Her Majesty walking the corgis in the garden,” the source added.
