Los Angeles, May 09: Singer Ashanti has been dumped by rap mogul Irv Gotti`s recording label as her relationship with Gotti had "run its course".
Ashanti who recently announced her Broadway stage debut this summer as Dorothy in a revival of `The Wizard of Oz`, was one of the biggest name on Gotti`s Murder Inc. label, MTV news reported.
However she now has been dropped as Gotti does not want to involve himself with the singer`s career and life anymore.
"Our relationship has run its course. We`re in two totally different places. We don`t really speak or talk and it`s sad, but, in another way, it`s like its all good. She needs some guidance, but she`s not thinking that," Gotti said.
